The Bare Chested Adventurer
A Conceptual design for an adapted story- 'The Bare Chested Adventurer' by Holly Muller.
A site specific performance. Directed by Bridget Keehan.
"In the valley bottom was a large, low house, lived in by one family for three generations. its roof was moss- clogged and sagging, the garden fenceless, wall-less, trees leaning above the lawn as if searching for the softest place to fall..."
Final Story boarding and Model

Costume drawings
I created these character drawings by sketching on paper and adding rough water colour. I then scanned them in and edited them on photoshop in more detail.

Sketching and model making
My process for this project began with sketches influenced by the text, space and my research. This then went into more detailed costume sketches, using sketchUP to place scenic elements in the space virtually and finally more detailed renders and model making. I used more eco friendly model making processes where possible.
